On-Device File Processing

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 20, 2026. At OmniTools, your privacy is our primary engineering principle. All file processing, media transformation, and cryptographic computations occur directly inside your browser on your device.

1. 100% Client-Side Processing Architecture

Unlike traditional SaaS utility platforms that upload your sensitive images, PDF contracts, SQL databases, and code to remote cloud servers, OmniTools executes all computations locally in your browser sandbox using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and modern JavaScript Web APIs.

Zero File Storage: Your documents, videos, photos, and passwords never leave your hardware, are never transmitted over the internet, and are never stored on any server database.

Website connection and preferences

Opening a tool requires a brief connection check with this website. It sends a random challenge and standard browser request headers, never your files or tool inputs. The temporary response stays in browser memory for up to five minutes. The hosting service receives normal connection metadata such as your IP address. Tool processing still happens on your device.

Your selected color theme is stored locally in your browser. Dismissing the optional advertising-support notice is remembered for the current tab session. The notice checks a temporary page element locally and does not send detection results to a server.

2. Cookies & Advertising Disclosures (Google Requirements)

OmniTools is supported by advertising to keep all utility tools 100% free and unlimited for creators and developers worldwide.

  • Third-Party Vendors & Google AdSense: Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.
  • Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Personalized Advertising Opt-Out: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.

3. Information We Collect

We do not require user accounts, email registration, credit cards, or logins. In addition to the connection metadata described above, site diagnostics and preferences may include:

  • Aggregated web analytics (page views, browser type, referral sources).
  • Anonymous crash logs to improve client-side tool performance.
  • Local storage preferences (such as dark mode preference or UI state), stored purely on your own device.

4. Data Retention & Security

Uploaded-to-the-page files are processed locally rather than retained on a processing server. This reduces exposure of your content but does not eliminate risks from a compromised device, browser extension, or website. Closing the tool releases its temporary resources; downloaded output files remain on your device until you remove them.

5. Contact Us Regarding Privacy
