How Aesthetic Screenshot & Mockup Beautifier works
The Aesthetic Screenshot and Mockup Beautifier turns a local screenshot into a framed product image or a short animated presentation. Existing visual presets provide device chrome, gradients, shadows, typography, and caption positions. Motion is a separate setting: choosing a reveal, floating mockup, typing caption, or scrolling screenshot does not replace your text or visual styling. The composition uses fixed dimensions, so opening the editor on a phone changes the displayed preview size without reducing the exported artwork.
Still images default to a 3840-pixel long edge: landscape is 3840 × 2160, portrait is 2160 × 3840, and square is 3840 × 3840. The browser renders the composition at the chosen resolution, rather than enlarging a small preview bitmap. Lossless PNG is a useful choice for interface labels and transparent corners. Pixel dimensions are different from print DPI; a 3840-pixel image printed at 300 pixels per inch spans 12.8 inches. A low-resolution source screenshot can still look soft when enlarged.
Animation uses logical layers captured once per design and resolution. An absolute-time evaluator controls the mockup, captions, and screenshot viewport; the same evaluated scene drives preview, scrubbing, still frames, and video. Browser WebCodecs encodes exact frame timestamps when supported, and a muxer writes the playable MP4 or WebM container. A separately labeled MediaRecorder fallback records in real time. Screenshots, caption text, and output frames stay on the device; application libraries and fonts may load normally.
How to use Aesthetic Screenshot & Mockup Beautifier
1. Load a sharp source screenshot
Select a local image and start with the preset closest to your intended presentation. Capture the source at a useful resolution and crop distractions beforehand. The beautifier adds framing and text; it cannot reconstruct missing source detail or remove sensitive text embedded in the image.
2. Adjust the visual composition
Choose landscape, square, or vertical layout, then refine the frame, background, spacing, caption alignment, and shadow. Keep room around the mockup for its shadow and any motion. Review the overflow warning after enlarging a headline, changing offsets, or tilting the frame.
3. Add motion when needed
Switch to Animated and choose a motion preset. Play, pause, replay, or scrub the timeline. Advanced controls adjust caption reveal, speed, delay, holds, and screenshot movement. Scroll needs a tall screenshot and zero perspective tilt; whole-mockup animation also works with the perspective presets.
4. Export at the intended quality
Use the separate still-image quality selector for 4K artwork, or choose 720p/1080p and 24/30 FPS for video. In animated mode, explicitly select the original static composition or the current frame for image export. Download and inspect the result at its intended display size.

Stable caption reveals
Typewriter and word reveals use the final text layout, keeping line breaks stable. Grapheme segmentation preserves combined emoji and accented characters. Captions accelerate when necessary to complete before the final hold, with a visible explanation.
High-resolution stills and local video
PNG, JPEG, and WebP use the selected image dimensions. SVG and HTML contain embedded raster artwork, and PDF embeds the rendered image. Video choices appear only when a compatible local encoding path is available.
Source resolution and sharp 4K mockups
A 4K canvas gives captions and frames more output pixels, but it cannot restore detail missing from the uploaded screenshot. Capture the source at a readable scale, avoid repeated JPEG compression, and judge embedded interface text at the size viewers will actually see. Preview zoom does not set export resolution.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my phone preview look smaller than the downloaded image?
The preview scales to available screen space. Export uses fixed output dimensions, including 4K stills, independent of phone width. Inspect the downloaded file at full size; a messaging service may create its own compressed preview.
Does 4K export guarantee that every screenshot looks sharp?
No. Captions and frames render at the selected resolution, but a small or previously compressed screenshot remains limited by its source pixels. Prefer PNG for sharp interface graphics and start from a higher-resolution capture when its embedded text is soft.
Which browsers can export MP4 animation?
MP4 requires a supported local H.264 WebCodecs encoder or MP4 MediaRecorder path. Other devices may offer WebM instead. The format menu reflects detected support, and filenames match the actual container. No server conversion or hidden MP4 fallback is used.
Can screenshot text type itself onto the screen?
Only editable badge, title, and subtitle text can reveal independently. Text already inside a screenshot is image content. No OCR, text erasing, or automatic separation of screenshot labels is performed.
Are every visual effect and loop fully supported?
Animated transforms are 2D; existing perspective is captured as static styling. Cached animation layers retain translucent fills but do not reproduce backdrop blur. Minimal loop can return smoothly to its starting state; repeating a typing preview does not make that animation seamless.
What should I do if export is interrupted or memory is limited?
Cancel and retry with a shorter video or lower resolution. Keep the tab visible for real-time recording; hiding it cancels that export instead of saving an incomplete file. Lower still-image dimensions are available for devices that struggle with 4K current-frame capture.
Do I need an internet connection, and are my inputs uploaded?
An internet connection is required to open tools and refresh a temporary session. Processing stays on your device; the handshake sends a random challenge, not files or text inputs. Libraries, fonts or models may download. Local processing cannot remove risks from an untrusted device or extension.
