Under the hood, the designer is powered by a high-DPI HTML5 Canvas rendering engine and pdf-lib vector compilation. It includes 12+ professionally designed built-in templates spanning modern typography, geometric accents, luxury cards, and interactive QR codes. Users can add multi-line text with auto-fitting algorithms, geometric shapes, vector divider lines, uploaded raster graphics, and dynamically rendered QR codes with error-correction levels.
For high-volume personalized production, the designer features a powerful CSV Batch Merge engine. By incorporating mustache-style placeholders like {{name}}, {{title}}, or {{qr_url}}, users can link tabular data and generate hundreds of unique cards in a single multi-page vector PDF or N-up imposition print sheet. A layout that looks spacious on screen may become cramped on a small card. Check physical dimensions, margins and the smallest text at the intended print size. Print a sample before producing a batch; a desktop printer’s non-printable margins and scaling options can change edge placement.

Can I export files suitable for commercial print shops?
Yes! You can enable standard 3mm bleed margin expansion and crop cut marks in the export settings dialog. Vector shapes and standard PDF fonts are preserved with razor sharpness at 300 DPI.
Is my confidential employee or customer data safe?
100% safe. The entire design tool, CSV parser, rendering pipeline, and PDF compiler run strictly in your web browser sandbox memory. No design data, images, or customer spreadsheets are ever sent to an external server.
How does multi-page and double-sided card design work?
You can add multiple pages to your project using the bottom page strip. The imposition sheet export supports duplex printing (front and back layout pairing) for professional double-sided business card printing.
Can I save my design project and edit it again later?
Yes! The designer continuously autosaves your project to local browser IndexedDB. You can also download a portable .omni-design project file package and reopen it on any device at any time.
Do I need an internet connection, and are my inputs uploaded?
An internet connection is required to open tools and refresh a temporary session. Processing stays on your device; the handshake sends a random challenge, not files or text inputs. Libraries, fonts or models may download. Local processing cannot remove risks from an untrusted device or extension.
